QuestBack launches new functionality for increased accessibility and security

May 3rd 2010, QuestBack launches new functionality on May 9th to help QuestBack users work even more effectively. Based on feedback from our users, QuestBack works continuously to improve the service to add value to the users' daily work within the service.

What is new?

  • Create and reuse Respondent lists
  • Accessibility support in answer module (WCAG AA-level)
  • SSL encryption is default turned on
  • “Exclude me" link is default turned on

New functionality

Create and reuse Respondent lists
Support of creating and reusing Respondent lists by saving them as E-mail groups. It is now possible to time-efficiently create and save groups of contacts (e-mail addresses) used in a Quest and reuse these in later Quests (not including Respondent data). In addition it will be possible to easily share groups of contacts across all users in your account.

Accessibility support in answer module (WCAG AA-level)
This will make your Quests (surveys) accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, and combinations of these.

SSL encryption is default turned on
For security reasons “https” is set as default instead of “http”. The new setting will encrypt your links and be even more secure. Your respondents will feel their feedback is treated with increased level of security, and potentially increase your response rate. You are free to turn this off at any time if required.

“Exclude me” link is default turned on
“Exclude me” link is turned on by default due to spam preventing actions. You have the option to turn the link off, but you will be alerted if you publish the Quest with 10 or more invitees. This means you will reach a wider range of respondents as your invitations will less likely be stopped in spam filters.

When will this be released?

The new functionality will be released in the time period: 07.00-17.30 May 9th.
The service will therefore be unavailable for both users and respondents during the same time period.

More information

The user manual will include in depth information on how you can use the new functionality directly after release.
