When will this be released?

The new functionality will be released in the time period: 11pm, November 19th - 1am, November 20th (GMT+1). The service will be unavailable for both users and respondents during the same time period.

Functionality for Scoring
Introducing new functionality for Scoring opens for new areas of use. Like i.e. run tests and exams - as part of both employees training/testing and training/testing of external relations. Scores can be set on question alternatives in the survey and stored as background variables. This introduces the following capabilities:

  • The current score and the max score can be included in question texts and completion message.
  • Question display conditions can be based on the current score. It is possible to add customised information texts for users that either passed or failed.
  • The score can be used in the condition for sending notifications and can also be included in the notification texts.
  • The score can be used for filtering in reports.
  • The score is included as a column in the raw data export

Improved User Experience
Easyresearch is redesigned and structured in order to improve your user experience. The user interface has been redesigned with an updated look, and the workflow is now tab based in the top navigation pane. Frequently used buttons are now more visible in the service. Like e.g. New Questionnaire. The new work flow will make it easier with user-friendly structure and navigation. The new visual design in the Easyresearch service is in line with the QuestBack Group design profile.

Advanced Notifications
The functionality for Notifications is improved. It is now possible to send Notifications retroactively, and users are able to send a notification to respondents that have already answered the survey. This means that notifications can be used for doing follow-ups with multi language support and also support for attachments.

Improved flexibility in Reports
The functionality for reporting is now more flexible and intuitive to use. Introducing new functionality for:

  • Relative time filtering
    - You can now easily filter reports on the last x days.
    - This functionality can also be used in cross tables for comparisons.
  • Report folders
    - Reports can now be organized in folders, and you will be able to better structure your reports.
  • Batch creation of reports to folder
    - When batch creating reports the created reports are now placed in a folder.
  • Optional to display sums in indexes
    - The sum can now be excluded in the indexes.
  • Optional number of decimals in indexes
    - The number of decimals used in indexes is now optional.
  • Display averages only for grading questions
    - Grading questions can now display the average only in the charts.

 

Easier User Administration
Administrators in Enterprise and Professional Edition can now create and manage users on their own. Administration of users now includes functionality for the following operations: 

  • Delete a user
    - When deleting a user, the content can be inherited to another user.
  • New users
    - New users receive a welcome email with a temporary password and can select their new password on first login.
  • Reset password
    - Users can now request a new temporary password if they have forgotten it.

Improved Access Permissions
The Access Permission handling is now improved and more flexible. Content is now by default private, but can be shared by assigning explicit permissions to the users that should be able to access it.

In previous versions, all content was shared by default and content was set private using access permissions. Customer using Enterprise Edition today will continue to use access permissions in the same way as in earlier versions but can switch to the new approach by contacting the support.
